Project is ADDRESSING The urgent need to explore new approaches for processing materials already present in the world but discarded too quickly. Focusing on technical textiles, that are frequently discarded after initial use, the full potential of these intricate, multi-layered materials is sought to be unlocked, simultaneously reducing the demand for virgin materials. The primary goal of the project is to (RE)create a novel material from DISCARDED technical textiles, possessing high durability, mold resistance, and UV resistance, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
