Our residence in Martell was a beautiful experience. Situated in Cognac, France, we addressed issues within the cognac industry, particularly focusing on water purity and the utilization of byproducts of the production – grape pomace, stems, and seeds. These components were employed in creating a variation of the Dodola water filter, along with experimentation of paper making from grape stems. Working with delightful people and utilizing a bigger scale 3D printer enhanced our ability to scale objects and provided a unique entry point to the design process.
